Avon resident and FVFC volunteer Brian Spectre is putting the final touches on his sci fi film Mindscapes, currently being shot in Collinsville and Avon. He also helped produce a music video for a local artist with help from FVFC volunteer Doug Tubach. Look for both videos in the next few months.

Avon resident Brian Spectre is looking for volunteer actors and crew to complete a sci-fi full length feature. Most shooting will be on weekends and in the Farmington Valley. For more information email: semirzian@snet.net.

Last January, the popular show, “History Detectives” visited the Unionville Museum to interview resident and author, Cliff Alderman about some history that involved Collinsville and Unionville and abolitionist John Brown. Tune in on July 5 at 8p.m. on PBS (check local listings).
